FAQ
1. Why am I seeing a 500 Internal Server Error while opening the Sprint page?
A 500 Internal Server Error usually indicates that the server encountered an unexpected problem while processing your request.
Possible Causes:
- The server is temporarily unavailable.
- The backend service responsible for loading sprint data is not responding.
- The database connection failed.
- The system is undergoing scheduled maintenance.
What You Can Do:
- Refresh the page after a few minutes.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Check your internet connection.
- Contact your system administrator or support team if the issue continues.
2. Why can't I create a new sprint?
If clicking Create does not save the sprint, the input values may not have passed validation.
Possible Causes:
- The Sprint Name was left empty.
- Either the Start Date or End Date is missing.
- The Start Date is configured later than the End Date.
- Your user role does not have permission to create sprints.
What You Can Do:
- Enter a valid Sprint Name.
- Select both Start and End dates from the date pickers.
- Verify that the Start Date occurs before or on the End Date.
- Request administrative permissions if the issue persists.
3. Why are my sprint updates not saving when I click Update?
If modified dates or titles revert after clicking Update, communication with the server may have been interrupted.
Possible Causes:
- Network connectivity was temporarily lost during submission.
- Your login session has expired.
- Invalid date range inputs.
What You Can Do:
- Verify your network connection and try again.
- Refresh the page and log in again if your session timed out.
- Ensure all required date fields contain valid values.
4. Why are no tasks showing up inside my sprint?
If your sprint card states "No tasks in this sprint", no items are currently assigned or visible.
Possible Causes:
- No tasks have been dragged or linked to this sprint from the Backlog.
- Active search bar entries or dropdown filters (Task Type, Priority, Status, Tags) are hiding assigned tasks.
What You Can Do:
- Navigate to the Backlog tab and drag tasks into this sprint.
- Reset all top filter dropdowns to All and clear the text search bar.
5. Why am I getting a 403 Access Denied or Unauthorized message?
This message indicates that your user account does not have permission to manage sprints for this project.
Possible Causes:
- Your assigned user role is limited to view-only access.
- Your session token has expired.
- You are not explicitly added to the project (
swiggy project).
What You Can Do:
- Sign out and sign back into your account.
- Verify you are accessing the correct user account.
- Contact your project administrator to grant sprint edit permissions.
6. Why is the Sprint list not loading?
If the sprint list remains blank or shows a loading spinner continuously, data retrieval failed.
Possible Causes:
- Slow or unstable internet connection.
- Temporary network block caused by a VPN, proxy, or firewall.
- Server timeout while fetching project data.
What You Can Do:
- Refresh the page.
- Check your internet connection.
- Disable any active VPN or proxy tools and try again.
